Thousandfold is a heavy, melodic/metal band from Nashville,
TN. Formed in 2002 with members from other established bands (Shadowburn,
Sub-Train and Mindstab), Thousandfold has been playing the Nashville
circuit for past few years performing shows at notable venues such
as Hard Rock Cafe, Exit/In, and the Gibson Showcase at Opry Mills.
They have also shared the stage performing with bands and artists
such as Sixth Floor and Chance from Muzik Mafia. They have also
been featured on festivals like the Backwoods Metalfest in Cadiz,
KY and Undergroundfest in Spring Hill, TN where MTV had a film
crew.
Thousandfold's music can be described as heavy melodic,
groove metal with the touch of speed, thrash, and hard rock. Their
verses are intense, aggressive and chaotic with having big melodic
choruses. Each member comes from diversified musical backgrounds.
Guitarist, Keith White with a healthy influence of Van Halen, Vocalist,
Gary Hedges with Sevendust, Bassist, Eli Daconto with Red Hot Chili
Peppers, and the drummer, Citadel with Killswitch Engage. These
were the influences that crafted the sound of Thousandfold.
In the summer 2005 Thousandfold went into the studio
to record their debut album which is set to be released late Spring
or early Summer of 2006. Their self-titled album will have 7 tracks
and was produced by Brody Hutchins (Gov't Mule) and Bobby Watkins
(The Screaming Cheetah Wheelies). With this album Thousandfold will
be branching out playing in various parts of the Southeastern region
as well as their home state in Tennessee hoping to attract new fans
and become a regional act. You are chosen and shall be paid a thousandfold.
